Photo Contest for the 2008 African Proverbs Calendar
Dear Friends,
Do you have a photograph that you think could be used for our 2008 African Proverbs Calendar?
This year, we have come up with an exciting new way for our users to be more involved in the creation process of our calendar. We would like to provide the opportunity for all users to submit ONE photograph for consideration for our 2008 African Proverbs Calendar.
As seen in the 2002-2007 African Proverbs Calendars, we tend to pick photos that best match the designated theme(s) for the month on the calendar.
We have recently chosen the twelve proverbs that will be featured on the calendar and if you are interested in submitting a photo, please contact the Moderator at: Moderator@afriprov.org for the list of themes/proverbs.
We are looking to have all photographs submitted by October 1, 2007. The Website Team will then vote on the photos that best match the proverb and theme for the specific month. All twelve winners will be notified and will receive a prize. The reward for the twelve winners will include recognition for your photo on the calendar, as well as a professionally printed copy of the 2008 African Proverbs Calendar.
Looking forward to your participation in this contest!
Sincerely,
The African Proverbs, Sayings and Stories Website Team
