New Message Board

New Message Board ( http://forum.afriprov.org)

Afriprov.org announces the launch of the brand new message board (http://forum.afriprov.org/) where list members will be able to share thoughts and insights on African Proverbs, Sayings and Stories with other members of the Afriprov.org community.

The “message board” is a software application which creates a bulletin board on the internet. This internet bulletin board is used as a “forum”, a public space to exchange ideas on a particular subject.

Afriprov members are encouraged to engage in stimulating conversation with like minded people who enjoy the wit and wisdom of African peoples in a safe and secure online environment moderated by the folks at Afriprov.org.

The message board can be reached from the Afriprov.org homepage (www.Afriprov.org ) by clicking on the “message board” link just under the “Services” heading or users can reach it directly by typing http://forum.afriprov.org .

To begin, go to the message board page and click on the “Register” link at the top of the page. Choose a username that tells the community a little something about you (SouthernGirl, JazzLover, Mike, Jane, RegularJoe are just a few hints), put in your e-mail address, pick a password and you’re ready to start posting your comments and questions!

The information under the “Profile” section is not required, so don’t worry if you don’t have any of that stuff committed to memory. You can choose to ignore it or provide it later when you update your profile.

Don’t forget to select “Always notify me of replies” so that you can get timely updates on new posts and replies to the message board.

Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page and you’re ready to go!

You will receive an e-mail message acknowledging your message board registration and welcoming you to the forum.

Please let us know what you think of the message board by posting your feedback or question to the “Forum/Site Suggestions” discussion.

Happy Posting!
