============================================================

Some years ago a survey was conducted in Our Lady of Visitation Parish in the
Makadara Section of Nairobi, Kenya that asked the question:  "What is the one
activity that you would like the priests in the parish to emphasize more?"  When
the answers were tabulated, the overwhelming first choice was "home visits."
This says a lot about African cultural values and the expectations of lay people
in the church.
