Sabina was ill for some time. She was a catechist and
requested to be buried in the church cemetery rather than the traditional custom
of being buried at home. When she died, the Christians buried Sabina according
to her wishes. When Sabina’s nephew Michael came to pay his last respects at the
cemetery, he brought her a traditional gift. He poured a libation of an entire
bottle of beer on her grave. Sabina liked beer!
