My family and I are direct beneficiaries of Maryknoll activities.  We went to their schools and were treated at their dispensaries.  Maryknollers baptized us and married us.  As a young boy growing up in Musoma Diocese, Tanzania I was eager to learn and get new ideas.  Maryknollers offered an education that liberated me from old ways and superstitions.  Maryknollers taught me the love of Jesus Christ, the virtues of humility and tolerance and the importance of the family as the basic unit of society.  By writing their history and work in Musoma Diocese I can register my gratitude to Maryknoll missionaries.
