============================================================

    After seven years
as Pastor of Ingri Parish in Musoma Diocese, Tanzania Father Bill Daley was
appointed Maryknoll’s Regional Superior.  Seven years later after completing two
terms as superior and a one-year sabbatical Bill was assigned back to Ingri.
Ingri is located 20 miles from the town of Tarime where the pastor must go to
collect the mail from the post office.  In his first few days back whenever Bill
would arrive at an outstation the people would ask: "Did you bring our mail?"

A week later the
new Regional Superior came to visit Bill at Ingri and asked, "What do the people
think of you being back after so many years?"  Bill answered: "They just think I
went up to Tarime to get the mail."
