============================================================

    Bishop Christopher Mwoleka of Rulenge Diocese, Tanzania
was a very simple man who disliked any pomp and special treatment.  He followed
St. Francis of Assisi in spirit and practice.  He preferred to serve others
rather than to be served himself.  At the installation of the new bishop of
Geita all the bishops gathered in the parlor waiting for the Religious Sisters
to serve cold drinks.  When the Sisters delayed coming into the room and several
bishops asked for their drinks, Mwoleka himself got up and started serving his
fellow bishops.  Jesus Christ couldn’t have done it better.
