African Proverb of The Month 2009 Review

Now that the December, 2009 “African Proverb of the Month” has been posted on our website, we can look at the overall year 2009 in review. Our 12 months of African Proverbs in 2009 came from 13 African countries covering English/French/Portuguese-speaking Africa as follows:

• Three proverbs each from Kenya and Nigeria.
• Two proverbs each from Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Tanzania and Uganda.
• One proverb each from Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Madagascar, Mozambique, Niger, Sudan and Togo.
