============================================================

Brother John Wohead gives very good advice that when you need to be pulled out
of a muddy section of a road or a swollen river: “The tow rope has to be taut.”
Once a Maryknoll priest got stuck in the Minyanda River in Shinyanga Diocese,
Tanzania during the rainy season.  A tractor came by to pull him out and the
priest gave John’s helpful advice to the driver.  Then the driver gunned the
engine while the tow rope was still slack.  The four-ply rope suddenly became an
eight-ply rope.
