Brother John Walsh often spoke about his long-time friend Brother Brian Fraher.
Brian was just as playful as John. Years ago in Nyegina, Tanzania, John and
Brian killed the largest python they had ever seen. They played with it, draped
it over the Landrover and posed with it like great game hunters. They wanted a
photo of it so they went into the house to get a camera. When they came out
again the snake was gone. When John told that story he relived the humor just
as if it happened today. In John’s glimmer I could almost see that snake
slithering away. When he told that story he was not just telling a snake story,
John was also telling a story of his love for Brian.
