I like to look into the eyes of Tanzanian students ready to leave for school and
see their hope and joy.  They are the lucky few who are chosen to go on for
higher education such as nursing, home craft or high school.  This convinces me
that we can change someone’s life forever through education.  Without education
life can be bleak and the future uncertain.  It’s hard to believe that only $400
covers school fees, supplies, clothes, shoes, medicine, transportation and
pocket money for one year here.  It’s a bargain of a lifetime!
